Use of Winlink Express

Winlink Express (formerly RMS Express)

It is the preferred Winlink radio email client because it supports all new system features of Winlink, and it is the only client supporting the Winlink Hybrid Network for email delivery outside of a disaster area with internet or inside the disaster area without the internet. 

1. Dependant on the Internet:

Having the ability to send or receive an email outside of the disaster area.

2. Not dependant on the Internet:

Having the ability to send a message to a EOC radio callsign that stays in a local storage Post Office with the ability for the recipient or designate using a tactical callsign to retrieve it within the disaster area.
