PROGRAMMING STEPS

Download and run the ADMS-7

Choose - No

Choose - Communications/Comport settings

if not use the Device Manager

You should see it show up in device manager

Then choose - Communications/Get Data from FTM-400D

Once this is done you should see something like this

To write your proramming file to the radio

Click- File/Open and choose your programming file

It should look something like this.

With the SCU-20 programming cable attached to the radio

Choose - Communications/Send Data to FTM-400D

The FTM-400DR/XDR has a micro sd slot where you install an 8-32 gb card.

You can clone from one radio to another.

If you messup your programming in the radio you can upload from the sd card back to the radio and return it like it was when you first programmed it.
