NEVER RUN OTHER COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAMS ON YOUR "EMCOMM" STATION!

WHY!

They can or will change your TNC parameters like:

MYNODE to a different node call sign

Was VE7ABC-8         Now VE7ABC-7

(Where did all the nodes go!)

XMITL change to a different value

Was 30       Now 300

(was @ 2.75 Khz    Now over 5.0 Khz)

(having trouble sending a msg)

Example: Running OUTPOST, it changes 20+ parameters!

(wonder why things are not working ?)
